A Man's Tear

A Poem by Donna Hostetter:

A Man's Tear

To see the tear of a man
As it rolls down his cheek,
'Tis a sign of compassion
And, not that he is weak.

Oh, dear people of this land,
May you realize this!
A man's tears are tender,
When in Jesus his heart is.

His shoulders are so strong
As man takes on life.
For, heavy is the load,
Of family and a wife.

Yet, greatest is the tear
Of man's heart as it falls.
For tender is the love,
When he follows as God calls.
