Another one for Dr. Mohler:
The Wall Street Journal reports that Deloitte & Touche USA is training its consultants to understand the differences between men and women when it comes to communication. It seems that the firm suggests, among other things, that its male consultants learn that women prefer a conversation across a table, face-to-face rather than side-by-side.
There is more to the firm's advice, but this little gem below caught my eye. Furthermore, every husband to whom I have shown this had what amounts to a communication Great Discovery. Check it out:
Body language differs by gender. Men tend to stare as they listen and nod to signify they understand. Women may nod when they don't yet understand to encourage the speaker to keep talking.
Ahhh . . . so when she nods it means something different? This is useful.
