We Have A Lift Off!

The first day of our new schedule and Sunday School format was a smashing success! We had more people in Adult Sunday School than ever before (nearly a hundred!) and the children's classes were well attended as well! It was such a blessing to have both worship services so packed out and then to see so many folks take part in the Sunday School period. We had a lot of help from a lot of people getting ready for this and all the work and effort paid off as the congregation responded heartily and heartfully to our new schedule. We even had most of our folks make it to the Early Service on time! Now that's something to be encouraged by!

As has become my custom recently, I brought my camera. I was running around to all the classrooms, trying to get a shot of who was there. Here are some of the highlights:

All the teachers were on time and prepared!

Ernest's class on the Messiah was very well attended.

The Women's Class on John MacArthur's 'Twelve Extraordinary Women ' filled the room.

Two of our young women joined the Women's class as well.

Doug Sach's class on Timothy was full too! Here, some folks get to know each other before class starts.

Some of the children's classes were warm and inviting.

And some were really hard to get to. Do you believe they made me crawl under a table to get to Todd and Kelly Stull's Middle School class?

These ladies were excited about Fred Reid's class.

Speaking of the Middle School class, this is what it was like after the 'Obstacle Course' at entry.

Even the nursery was busy. Karen does a great job with our little ones!
