A few things to think about on Thanksgiving

Here's a few postings and essays to help us keep the proper perspective on a day set aside to give thanks to God for His abundant blessings:

Desiring God takes us back the the true origin of Thanksgiving.

T.J. Addington at "Leading From the Sandbox" gives us a beautiful example of how much we all have to be thankful for.

Mark Altrogge over at "The Blazing Center" lends his very special brand of humor to our day.

Greg Strand, from the EFCA, looks at Thanksgiving from two perspectives, natural gratitude and gracious gratitude.

And finally, R.C. Sproul, Jr. approaches thanks poignantly and reverently as he looks back on a year in which his beautiful wife and his wonderful daughter went home to be with the Lord.

I pray all our friends in the USA and around the world today have a peaceful and blessed day of thanks.
