All Dressed Up...Part 1 (by KK, the guest blogger when the pastor is really busy!)
With our first snow flurries flying through the air late Friday, the annual Coat Drive today (Saturday, Dec 4) was right on schedule! We gave away approximately 300 coats, hats and sundry cold weather accessories
along with some great pastries donated by Panera bread.
Our collection partners were Chik-Fil-A and Fratelli's Restaurant. Even this morning, prior to the start of the giveaway, coats were being deposited for recycling through our program.
Of course we all had fun serving as evidenced by the photos below...
After the parade, a few from our congregation even stopped in for a quick warm up and a hello before we all headed home to prepare for the Christmas party the same evening!
