Yard Sale!

Last Saturday, we had a yard sale at the church. Todd and Kelly Stull, along with the Youth Group staged it to raise funds for their Kentucky Mountain Missions Trip later this summer.

We took a group of hard working folks to Beattyville, KY two years ago where a mission has been set up to reach out to the young adults in a small town in the Kentucky Mountains that has been devastated by unemployment and a total lack of anything to do. The Mission is building a community center and ministers the Gospel to the youth on the town. They're a great group of people and the work they're doing is awesome. Our people came back from that first trip exhausted and edified. The Sale was to raise funds for our return trip.

The Yard Sale was a huge success, raising over $1200, one of our biggest ever! It was a great day of fellowship and fun. It was also a huge blessing to be able to hang out with some of our kids and see them working so hard. We have a great Youth Group. Todd is working hard to show them Christ and get a firm foundation under them before they get out of High School. They deserve our support and they need our prayers.
