A New Song from Kelly!

Kelly wrote this yesterday:

I like sharing what God is doing...last week in worship, I was moved by the Spirit, thinking how God has every right to annihilate me and remove any trace of me from the earth, yet He allows me to worship Him. (insert deep, appreciative sigh)

Yesterday, I was moved to look up some key words and came to Ps 34, which says very similar thoughts. God has allowed me the pleasure of reworking His Word (slightly) to put into American rhyme His eternal truth. I hope you are blessed as you read. Love, KK
RADIANT ONE

If in righteousness is pleasure Lord,
Then it’s You I long to please
I want my tongue to speak no evil and
My lips to bring forth peace.

Still, in Your presence I am very small
but I ask You Lord to stay
If to a broken heart, yes, You are drawn,
Break me every day.

If I want Your eyes to see me
If I long for You to hear
My voice must call out sweetly
In trembling and fear

For You have every right to crush me
Erase my memory from the earth
But You have chosen in Your goodness
To redeem me with new birth.

Let us sing and shout and stand and praise
Together we’ll proclaim
An anthem to the Lord of Hosts
Our faces not ashamed.

Our fears have led us deeper
To worship His great name
For He has rescued us from danger
Afflictions won’t remain.

Radiant one……………..though troubles come
you can stand strong………….just as long………..
as you look - to Him!
