Guest Blogger - Kelly: Dross

I'm still in Youngstown wit my Mom. She's not doing real well. She's not eating and this is delaying the healing process and creating other complications.

Here's another note Kelly sent out to the worship team. I've held on to it for a few days and it ministered to me greatly this morning:

As I was praying this morning, I was moaning to God saying "Why is there always dross? I hate that it rises up. I didn't know it was there." and other whinings to the Lord. God's simple response to me was that it happens in making crowns.

Wow!

God is still doing a work in me - that's good news! No, I don't like not being perfect, but dross is an evidence of His working things out of me, bringing to Light those dark areas that need to be gone in order for a perfect offering, one without blemish to be lifted up to our Perfect, Without Blemish Lamb.

So here's to the evidence of dross and its ultimate removal! Here's to the crown He's making with us/for us/for us to give back to Him!

Don't be discouraged; be encouraged. He has never left us - He will never forsake us. He will be faithful to complete the work He's begun.

Love you all and praying for you all, especially for the team serving this weekend,
Kel
