Samantha Paige Is Almost Here!

We heard from Ruth this morning. Her Doctor says the baby could come at any moment now. So Kelly and I are sitting by the phone, looking intently at each other every time it rings, wondering if this is the phone call that will launch us down the road to.......Vermont! Vermont?

Being 9 hours away is tough at times like these. We want to be there when the baby is born but neither of us has the luxury, right now, of traveling up there and waiting for the baby to come. It may still be a number of days off! Being as impulsive as I am (patience has never been one of my stronger virtues), my first desire to to get up there and...........wait. Kelly is even more excited than I am. I know she would really like to be in the delivery room with Ruth.

We're praising God and are very thankful that Ruth is healthy and the baby seems healthy as well. We know all this, including the timing of the birth are in his hands and His plan for this special day is absolutely perfect. I just wish He'd let me in on the details! I am going to pray that God gives me patience RIGHT NOW!
