More Pictures of Samantha Paige

This is just amazing! Prior to the birth, I found myself wondering how I would relate to the baby. Would I feel close to her, like I did my children? Would she be like a distant cousin, nice but remote? What would it be like?

I've been watching my daughter dote over her for the last 36 hours. Somehow, she's this grown up woman taking care of her new baby and still my little girl with her own little girl. Somehow, our family is just as intimate and tight as ever but one person larger. Somehow, our hearts have grown in capacity to love one more just as much as we loved each other in the beginning, then Ruth, then Jason, then Todd and now Samantha. It's a miracle of God's grace!

We're so thankful to be able to have this time together. Our deepest appreciation for all the notes and prayers and encouragement. It's been a beautiful reminder of how close we are with our family at WBF as well.
