This is a work in progress!

Thanks to some great input from Jim Baker, I have been able to reconfigure the "comments" feature so that it is no longer necessary to create an account with Google in order to comment. I have also made the book and music lists into links so that you can sample some of the music or look at the books and see some reviews on them. Just click on a title and it will take you to the appropriate site for that book or CD.

Kelly and I leave for vacation tomorrow morning. Jason has decided to stay in Warrenton while we are gone :0( His girlfriend, Jessi, "blessed" him with a cat (the young type that is not yet large enough to defend itself but just the right size to jump onto you locking it's claws into your t-shirt and whatever remaining skin you have underneath in a desperate attempt to get closer to your nose which, for some reason, he seems fascinated with) before she left for Europe. I'm still not quite clear on why, after thousands of years of mankind fighting the elements and wild beasts, we now choose to bring them into our homes! We're sitting ducks! This is definitely a step back in our development! The next thing you know, we'll be bringing plants into the house and the transformation of moving everything that has ever threatened us from the outside to the inside will be complete. We, as a race, will then be forced to move outside to protect ourselves! What's wrong with this picture?

  1. "Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD.

Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.

For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
